Tito Morelli, Il Stupendo, the greatest tenor of his generation, is to appear for a one night only performance, The star arrives late and, through a hilarious series of mishaps, is given a double dose of tranquilizers. The theatre general manager and assistant may have accidentally killed him! In a frantic attempt to salvage the evening, Manager, Saunders, persuades assistant, Max, to get into Morelli’s costume and fool the audience that he is Il Stupendo. Can Max pull it off? IS Tito really dead? What happens AFTER the opera ends?!! A sensation on Broadway and in London’s West End, this madcap, screwball comedy is guaranteed to leave audiences teary-eyed with laughter.

This comic retelling of the story includes thumb wars, missed cues, and a slow motion fight.
